If you need to know anything about the greatest (no, I do not need to make that up as BC has a winning percentage of over 70% for almost 70 years) Junior College football team in the world, here ya go.
Last two years and 3 of the last 7 years BC has played for the So-Cal Title and once for the State Title.
The Renegades record the last two years is 23-3. Last year BC went undefeated, losing in the So-Cal title game by five. The year before BC lost on a last second prayer known as "The Pass".
BC plays ON the campus at the jewel of JC football, the 20,000 seat Memorial Stadium. Two sides sitting in a bowl, scoreboard, natural field turf, best in the state. Oh, and we have the most fans with an average attendance last year of over 8,000 fans a game. And the annual Golden Empire Bowl is the gem of all bowls. ALL players of both teams get authentic maroon Golden Empire Bowl leather letterman jackets.
BC has sent over 50 athletes to four year schools, with almost half going to D-1 or D-2 schools. Last year BC set records in passing and receiving, TD's, and yards. They run pro sets with the TE in motion to block or chip then run a route. I describe our offense as West Coast meets run n gun with some smashmouth tossed in for the running backs.
